The Embedded System Industry Promotion Organization is shifting from an “organization that examines whether something can be realized” to an “organization that plans and operates services.”

Steering committee

Plans the strategy of the organization (market investigation, direction, etc.) and promotes public relations (mutual exchange promotion and hosting seminars, etc.)

Educational promotion department

Aims at the promotion of engineers in the embedded system industry and the expansion of talent in the Kansai region by providing the human resources education services that are difficult for a company to do by itself and that educational companies do not provide.

Development support promotion department

Improve software reliability of Kansai industry by providing advanced verification technology using the “Satsuki” verification facilities at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Kansai Center.
Consulting on embedded software development
Early detection of project problems by visualization of objective project management data.
Project quality improvement by increasing the speed of progress meetings, addressing human resources shortages and understanding the problems of subsystems.
Development support tools
Provide useful development support tools at a low price according to a new business model for small and medium size companies that cannot arrange an expensive verification environment by themselves.
Order guidelines
Improve development quality by reducing discrepancies concerning order requirements between purchasers and suppliers. Moreover, contribute to company promotion by creating new opportunities for orders.

Other activities

This organization works with related organizations and groups by holding seminars and exhibitions in cooperation with related organizations such as JASA, IPA (information processing promotion mechanism)/SEC (software engineering center). Moreover, the activities are published on the Internet.
